Cranberry

A muted brick red with a wine undertone, dyed tonally rather than flat so it keeps a little movement. A grown-up red — warm without being loud — that pairs beautifully with cream, oatmeal and deep green if you are planning colourwork.

Hand dyed in small batches by Cornbread and Honey. Fingering weight, 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon, 462 yards per 100g skein — the nylon makes it hard-wearing enough for socks, and the superwash means it can go through the machine.
