Daffodils

Bright golden yellow and orange broken up by deep green, dyed in long stretches so it shifts as you knit rather than pooling. It looks exactly like the first daffodils coming up through the grass. Striking on its own in a simple sock or a plain stockinette cowl.

Hand dyed in small batches by Cornbread and Honey. Fingering weight, 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon, 462 yards per 100g skein — the nylon makes it hard-wearing enough for socks, and the superwash means it can go through the machine.
