Goldenrod

A deep, warm golden yellow, dyed tonally so the colour shifts between honey and amber as the skein turns. It reads as one rich colour from across the room and shows its depth up close, which is exactly what you want in a shawl or a pair of socks that has to earn its keep all autumn.

Hand dyed in small batches by Cornbread and Honey. Fingering weight, 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon, 462 yards per 100g skein — the nylon makes it hard-wearing enough for socks, and the superwash means it can go through the machine.
