Keystone: Easy care acrylic & wool yarn made in the USA

Keystone is a classic, easy-care worsted weight yarn designed for knitters and crocheters who want quality without compromising on values. Crafted from a thoughtful blend of 70% deadstock acrylic and 30% North American wool, Keystone is a soft, sturdy, and versatile yarn that’s just as ideal for baby garments and dog sweaters as it is for heirloom afghans or community outreach projects. Working directly with the mill that makes Germantown, we were able to utilize more than 59,000 pounds of acrylic fiber abandoned in their warehouse. This is fiber that would otherwise have gone to waste or ended up in a landfill. By blending the same wool that is used in Germantown with the deadstock acrylic, we are able to extend the use of the fiber, which in turn, reduces waste and increases supply chain efficiency. • 70% deadstock acrylic, 30% N.
