Sock Crates

Two 50 g skeins of Koigu KPPPM packed in a small wooden crate and tied with a burlap bow. KPPPM is Koigu's hand dyed 100% merino fingering yarn, about 170 to 175 yards a skein, knit at 28 stitches and 36 rows over 10 cm on US 3 (3.0 to 3.25 mm) needles. Two skeins is the usual amount for a pair of adult socks, so a crate is a whole project in a box. It's superwash, so a gentle machine wash on the delicate cycle is fine. Colorways vary from crate to crate and the code on the label tells you which one you have. The crate is worth keeping for stitch markers afterward.
